She wasnt. In the novel, she overwhelmed Han Li with scolding and slapping, and insisted that he mistook her for Nangong Wan and also most importantly that he touched her inappropriately. Then she sort of apologised for absorbing his cultivation essence and offered him two choices of compensation spirit stones or secret techniques from her sect.

Poor Han Li's brain was overwhelmed at that point, added to the fact that his cultivation essence was absorbed and level was decreased preoccupied his thoughts. Also bear in mind, he doesnt see her often, in the novel anyway, so his memory of her is blurred, and given that they are "cousins", Han Li probably thought it was reasonable they looked "similar" even though it was a kind of a silly plot device

Well, its not that far fetched. I had a girlfriend that I lived together with for a year, got in one too many big fights, (she's a drunk) we separated and I moved back to my home state. Then when she came back less than two months later I picked her up at the train station...and I completely didn't recognize her. Its actually pretty common in cultivation stories that a cultivators cave is made up pretty nice with furniture and stuff. They either carry it with them in their storage rings...or simply carve all the furniture and dishes and so on out of rock with their magic sword. Some permanent cultivation caves are dolled up nicer than your average palace.

The titled is called 南宫屏 which is NangongPing

There's usually only one translation out there, meaning a novel would usually have only one translator, and when that translator drops it because of whatever reason, another one will pick up from where the previous one left it. It is rare but not unheard of, that sometimes a translator will start from the beginning of the novel.

Most novel sites with the exception of machine translated ones, picks up whatever translation is out there, so they are usually from the same translator or translation group.

And it is for this reason that I get into argument with some people who will say I am wrong in my translation or what I wrote, but I always tell them I only use the terminology from the translation, since this is an English site and it is much easier for people who are curious to go to the fandom or translated novel, and go "OH I SEE" instead of me using what was in the Chinese novel, in the case of Ping vs Bing, I use Ping since I know the translated novel is wrong

Han Li has trash Cultivation Talent because of his False Spirit Roots. He managed to get a type of skill that requires him to remove his own power levels three times. Each time when he restore power levels, his spirit power becomes more condensed as his Truth Essence becomes more powerful.

Plus the Cyan Sword Skill (the clone technique he used previously) it made Han Li's foundation ridiculously strong

Yes that is a big part of the reason why...but there are other reasons. There is his powerful formations. His puppet technique is not just for controlling puppets. It makes his "Soul Power" very strong. And don't forge the Ultimate Magic Treasure - his little bottle that condenses liquid that grows spirit herbs and such. With that and alchemy, he can make all the Qi power pills he wants!
And most important is Han Li is a strategist on the level of a power gamer. If you played D&D with Han Li you would hate him! Because he has lots of contingency plans for almost everything. And he is crafty with the rules almost to the point of total abuse of the rules of the game in order to win.
